1949: The origin of the Dusit Thani Group dates back to 1949 when Thanpuying Chanut Piyaoui, the owner, opened her first hotel, the Princess, located on Bangkok's New Road. Since then with the widespread development of Dusit Hotels and Resorts and Royal Princess Hotels, Thanpuying Chanut, who was also interested in education, recognized the need for specialized hospitality training in Thailand. 1993: With that objective in mind, Dusit Thani College opened its doors in June 1993. Since then, students have received extensive theoretical and practical training from Asia's newest and most advanced hospitality education institute. The college currently provides both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business administration in various disciplines. -Bachelor’s Degree (Thai program) in Hotel and Resort Management, Kitchen Management and Culinary Arts, Tourism Management, Spa Management, and MICE and Event Management -Bachelor’s Degree (International program) in Hotel and Resort Management(with the academic certification of Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne) -Bachelor’s Degree (International program) in Kitchen and Restaurant Management (A Joint Program between Le Cordon Bleu and Dusit Thani College) -Master’s Degree program (Thai program) in Hotel and Restaurant Management In addition to all degree programs, non-degree programs in the hospitality fields including an Executive Program in Hotel Management, a Hospitality Access Program, Short Training Courses, and Corporate Training Courses are also available.
