The project:

Accor is dedicated to combatting gender-based violence as a key social responsibility priority, ensuring a safe workplace for its employees and communities worldwide. The group actively collaborates with various organizations, governments, and peers to address this critical issue. Notably, Accor co-leads the “Generation Equality Action Coalition against Gender-Based Violence” by UN Women, uniting global stakeholders towards this cause.

Initiatives like the #StOpE campaign, launched in partnership with EY and L'Oréal, aim to eradicate "ordinary" sexism at work through e-learning and awareness programs. Accor’s participation in the Employer's Domestic Abuse Covenant in the UK underscores its commitment to supporting victims of domestic violence, providing workshops and mentoring.

Accor extends its support internationally with initiatives like “Evolvin’ Women” in the Middle East & Africa, training women from Sub-Saharan Africa for hospitality roles in UAE hotels. In France, through partnerships with organizations like La Fondation des femmes, Accor provides emergency accommodation and support to women and children facing abuse.

Accor’s proactive approach includes educational programs and awareness campaigns globally. A global e-learning module on sexism, harassment, and domestic violence launched in 2023 underscores its commitment to educating employees. In Colombia and China, Accor collaborates with local foundations and UN Women to raise awareness and implement policies preventing violence.

Accor’s comprehensive efforts demonstrate its commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment, supporting victims, and promoting gender equality globally.
