AGE Restaurant: A Culinary Voyage at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort

Opened in December 2019 within the luxurious Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, AGE Restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its dimly lit, textured interiors embodying the "Flame and Burn" theme. The atmosphere exudes smoky sophistication, enhanced by a palette of charcoal, obsidian, and steel, complemented by black charred wood, smoked leather, and brushed metal.

Culinary Excellence

Chef de cuisine Nicola Pandolfo Testino leads guests on a global culinary voyage, presenting an impressive selection of dry-aged steaks. From Japanese wagyu striploin to Australian Angus tomahawk, Galician T-bone to Hereford tenderloin from Aberdeen, AGE's succulent cuts are grilled in a Josper charcoal oven for unparalleled flavor and tenderness.

Beyond Meat

Inspired by the Andaman Sea, AGE offers exquisite seafood and vegetable dishes. Highlights include Josper-grilled octopus, yellowtail carpaccio, pan-seared Hokkaido scallops, and charred eggplant with aged Parmigiano-Reggiano sauce, each dish packed with timeless flavors.

Wine and Art

The celebrated wine cellar features over 350 labels from Old and New World terroirs, curated by a master sommelier for a journey of discovery. Additionally, Phuket-based Australian artist John Underwood's kinetic sculptures made from recycled materials add a playful exuberance to the restaurant.
