Committed to "Giving Back to Society," IHCL focuses on skilling underprivileged youth, promoting social inclusion, and supporting low-income groups, artisans, women, and differently-abled individuals within its workforce and value chains.

Under the "PAATHYA" initiative, IHCL drives sustainability and social impact. Key efforts include:

  • Heritage Conservation: Partnering with UNESCO, IHCL promotes India’s intangible cultural heritage and native culinary traditions, hosting Tribal Food Fests and supporting Varanasi’s handloom weaving tradition.
  • Community Initiatives: Collaborations include the upkeep of the Gateway of India precinct, Varanasi Ganga Ghat, and the National Railway Museum in Delhi.

IHCL’s efforts align with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Employee volunteering is crucial, with activities like food donations, cleanliness drives, tree planting, and educational sessions, resulting in over 90,000 volunteering hours.
