Mariam Gasparyan, a dedicated hospitality professional at Holiday Inn Yerevan Public Square, exemplifies commitment, leadership, and a passion for excellence. With a strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s Degree from Brusov State University and a Degree in Economics and Business Management from the University of Granada, Mariam combines theoretical expertise with practical industry experience.

Her journey at Holiday Inn Yerevan includes multiple promotions, first to Front Office Shift Leader and then to Supervisor. These roles highlight her exceptional performance, recognized by awards such as Best Employee of the Month and Guest Star 2023 for being the most reviewed employee of the year.

Mariam has significantly contributed to the hotel’s operational success. Key achievements include a 10% departmental turnover, 59% occupancy rate, and a RevPAR of AMD 23,084 ($59.19). She has enhanced guest experiences by introducing initiatives like prayer rugs for Muslim guests and fostering sustainability through a partnership with a recycling company.

Her proactive approach extends to quality control, where she collaborates on QSE evaluations and conducts one-on-one conversations to motivate and support her team. Through leadership programs like IHG’s "Leading Others" and "Train the Trainer," she has honed her skills, completing 40 hours of cross-training in housekeeping to improve interdepartmental collaboration.

Mariam actively promotes the company through university seminars, networking for talent recruitment, and sharing job opportunities within her network. She also engages in community-oriented initiatives like "Giving for Good" and "IHG Service Week," reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to social responsibility.
