"Grand By Nature" Book Launch: Celebrating Fairmont's Legacy
In April 2022, we released the book "Grand By Nature" and held a global launch event in New York. This monograph traces the entire history of the Fairmont brand, one of the oldest in the Accor Group. The book pays tribute to generations of Fairmont colleagues who have dedicated themselves to creating unforgettable experiences for guests, solidifying Fairmont as a truly iconic brand.
Objective: The goal was to generate excitement and brand momentum around the book, enhancing awareness and asserting the brand's rich heritage.
Strategy: To achieve this, we encouraged Fairmont hotels to organize local activations. We provided a comprehensive toolkit to guide them in event preparation, including music, decorations, photos, and book highlights. Hotel employees played a crucial role in these activations, embodying the Fairmont story and representing the brand daily.
Outcome: The book launch and subsequent activations aimed to create a sense of pride and connection among Fairmont employees while promoting the brand's illustrious history to guests and the public. This initiative reinforced Fairmont's legacy and its commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
