The Hospitality Awards 2024 celebrates innovative contributions to the hospitality sector. Among the nominees, HappyCulture Académie has been recognized for its groundbreaking talent management initiative aimed at addressing post-pandemic recruitment challenges in the hospitality industry.

HappyCulture, with 47 hotels across France, Belgium, Spain, and Switzerland, embodies values of enthusiasm, personalization, and professionalism, while maintaining strong CSR commitments under "Committed Hospitality." In February 2024, it launched the first French YouTube channel dedicated to hospitality careers, offering free training and portrait videos to humanize and promote hospitality roles. The channel provides professional-grade, vlog-style content, including tutorials and testimonials to attract, train, and retain talent.

This initiative has achieved notable success: over 300,000 views, 850 subscribers, and significant reductions in receptionist turnover rates. With 130 videos in seven months, it has boosted applications by 71% compared to the same period in 2023. Upcoming features include multilingual videos, eco-friendly practices, and integration with hospitality school curricula. The platform will expand to TikTok, targeting younger demographics with engaging content and influencer collaborations.

HappyCulture's unique widget simplifies recruitment by guiding viewers from training videos to job applications. This initiative combines visibility, inclusivity, and sustainability, redefining talent acquisition and training in hospitality.
