The project:

ibis, Europe’s leading brand in the economic hotel segment, is renowned for its reliability, value, and welcoming atmosphere. As the hospitality industry increasingly embraces lifestyle trends, ibis launched the ibis MUSIC program to expand its customer base through the universal language of music.

The ibis MUSIC initiative addresses two key challenges: leveraging partnerships to enhance music offerings and transforming these collaborations into compelling guest experiences. To promote the program, ibis strategically partnered with influential music entities across Europe: The Voice in France, Sziget Festival in Hungary, and Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

Each partnership was tailored to meet local preferences:

  1. ibis collaborated with The Voice, integrating the program into hotels with The Voice ibis Tour across France, featuring live gigs and national media campaigns. This partnership was enhanced through digital engagement and exclusive experiences for ALL loyalty program members.
  2. At Sziget Festival, ibis branded a stage showcasing emerging artists from around the world, complemented by in-hotel performances and extensive online and influencer activations.
  3. At Montreux Jazz Festival, ibis hosted the largest terrace on Lake Geneva, featuring live music and DJ sets, creating a vibrant community space with VIP access for partners and influencers.

These partnerships not only differentiated ibis in the market but also demonstrated scalability and adaptability across diverse European markets. Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with a majority rating ibis MUSIC highly for enhancing brand appeal and fostering community connections. Moving forward, ibis plans to build on this success, continuing to innovate and resonate with a broader audience through the ibis MUSIC program.
