The project:
Kopster Hotels, part of the Lavorel Hotels Group, redefines the hospitality experience with its 4-star urban chic concept. Born from the vision of Jean-Claude Lavorel, Kopster Hotels blend originality, warmth, and a sense of belonging, offering guests a place to feel "Like at home." This innovative brand prioritizes individuality over standardization, presenting fashionable and unconventional living spaces that reflect guests’ personalities.
Kopster’s design philosophy emphasizes comfort, conviviality, and sensory engagement. Inspired by nature and childhood memories, interiors feature unique elements like animal-themed wallpapers, eclectic furnishings, and vibrant colors, creating spaces where every object tells a story. The integration of raw and refined materials results in a cozy yet dynamic ambiance. Each Kopster location embraces its identity through totem animals like the giraffe, zebra, and monkey, symbolizing playfulness and connection.
The brand’s values—authenticity, friendliness, creativity, and a connection to nature—are at the core of its operations. Guests can enjoy warm, offbeat atmospheres that encourage relaxation and interaction. Sustainability is also a key commitment, with Green Key certifications, eco-friendly initiatives like towel reuse, recycled soap distribution, and responsible water practices.
Kopster Hotels cater to diverse demographics, from urban travelers and young professionals to families and business clients seeking unique and sustainable hospitality experiences. With locations in Lyon, Colombes, and soon Paris, the brand boasts a 65% occupancy rate, a 40% return customer base, and an average price of €115.
Future plans include expanding through new openings and franchising, alongside initiatives like a loyalty program and branded merchandise. By combining individuality, sustainability, and innovation, Kopster Hotels invite guests to become part of the “Kopster Tribe,” redefining what it means to feel at home while traveling.
