Ruta Masaya Launch: Strengthening Connections and Cultural Impact in 2022

In 2022, we launched Ruta Masaya with the goal of connecting our guests and staff to our ecosystem, strengthening ties with local allies, and building meaningful, lasting relationships with the associative world in each destination. We aim to position our brand as a cultural actor, facilitator of connections, and creator of experiences within the local ecosystem, enhancing the visibility of Ruta Masaya and showcasing the uniqueness of each destination.

We also focused on positioning our new destinations, Cartagena and Minca, generating brand visibility in local and national press, growing our social media community, and strengthening the sense of belonging among the Masayistas, turning them into brand ambassadors. Additionally, we aimed to generate additional "non-accommodation" income at all venues.

To promote our 360 Experience approach globally and in each destination, we proposed a series of activities, events, tours, and gastronomic offers throughout June, highlighting our 360 concept as never seen before.

Outcome:

  • Digital communication through Facebook, Instagram, EventBrite, Google, and OTAs, with a video teaser relayed by HW.
  • In-situ communication with banners, stickers, posters, wristbands, and T-shirts.
  • Achieved 1,800 visitors, in addition to guests.
  • Hosted over 70 artists.
  • Held a cumulative 12-day festival.
  • Gathered feedback with each manager in anticipation of Masaya Fest 2023.

This initiative successfully enhanced our brand's cultural impact and visibility, fostering stronger community connections and enriching guest experiences.
