NH Hotel Group's Recruitment Training Strategy
The hospitality industry has a high turnover rate, around 70%, affecting departments like F&B, Front Office, and Housekeeping at NH Hotel Group. Despite having a reasonable recruitment process, it was decentralized, limiting HR's support due to the geographical spread and volume of tasks. To address this, NH Hotel Group launched a project to provide operations teams with structured training and resources, ensuring a consistent candidate experience across all hotels.
Initially, the company offered face-to-face skills training on selection management, but geographical dispersion and the number of team members made it challenging to reach everyone timely. Thus, NH Hotel Group created an online Recruitment Toolkit containing basic guidelines for the recruitment process, accessible anytime.
The Recruitment Toolkit includes e-learning modules, quick guides, simulations, templates, and tips, available on the NH Talent training platform (LMS). It supports recruiters throughout the selection process, aligning with NH Hotel Group's procedures. The comprehensive blended learning program uses six modalities, accessible via smartphones and tablets, except for the interview simulation.

Since its launch, over 220 employees have completed the entire itinerary, and more than 5,400 resources have been accessed. The toolkit is recommended for all team managers (+1,800), with an overall rating of 4.25 out of 5 stars.
