The project:

Sheraton Lisboa exemplifies inclusivity and innovation through its 2024 Social Responsibility Program, integrating diverse partnerships and impactful actions. The hotel collaborates with Café Joyeux, renowned for empowering individuals with mental and cognitive disabilities, by welcoming interns and employing them in dynamic roles. Café Joyeux coffee capsules, created with Nespresso, are now featured in all guest rooms, further supporting their mission.

Another initiative involves partnering with Dans le Noir?, a unique dining concept where guests eat in darkness, guided by visually impaired hosts, offering a profound sensory and awareness experience. Launching in May 2024, this collaboration includes blind wine tastings and sensory-tested menus, redefining culinary experiences.

Sheraton Lisboa also embraces social reintegration by hiring an ex-convict through the RESHAPE association, promoting meaningful opportunities for marginalized individuals. The hotel’s long-standing support for CASA and CrescerSer, offering donations and practical aid, underscores its dedication to community upliftment.

Certified by GEEIS for gender equality and professional diversity, Sheraton Lisboa leads inclusivity efforts within the hospitality sector. These initiatives highlight a commitment to innovation, fostering an empowering environment for guests and employees alike, while making a lasting societal impact.
