Anantara Iko Mauritius offers an immersive Spice Spoons cooking experience, blending culinary education with cultural exploration. Guests embark on a guided tour of Mahebourg’s local market, selecting fresh, exotic ingredients under the chef’s guidance. Back at the resort, they engage in hands-on cooking classes, preparing traditional Mauritian dishes like rougaille and dholl puri, while mastering the island's unique blend of Creole, French, Indian, and Chinese culinary techniques.
The experience concludes with guests enjoying their creations overlooking the ocean, creating a memorable dining experience. Participants receive a certificate and a recipe book, enabling them to recreate the dishes at home. Designed for all skill levels, the classes are inclusive, educational, and relaxed, fostering both enrichment and enjoyment.
