To be eligible, the concept must have been implemented within the last two years and is operational. It should provide a new approach and vision of guest experience, with a focus on design, public spaces, and overall service quality. The concept should have the potential to revolutionize the hospitality industry and offer a better quality of service for guests.

The project:

Sun Resorts launched 'Project Brilliant' in September 2020 to transform its identity post-pandemic. In partnership with Luxury Branding, the initiative rebranded Sun Resorts to 'Sunlife,' revitalizing the master brand and its sub-brands: Sugar Beach, La Pirogue, and Long Beach. Each resort offers a unique concept: the opulence of the 1920s at Sugar Beach, the charm of a fishing village at La Pirogue, and novel experiences at Long Beach.

The transformation introduced a new ethos and values. Sunlife's Vision is a world where "Kindness Shines," promoting warmth and compassion. Its Purpose is to "Radiate the Magic of Mauritius," focusing on positivity and energy. Core values of Love, Dreams, and Thoughtfulness enhance the Mauritian hospitality experience. Sustainability became integral, and technological innovations like a new app and website improved the guest experience.

As the project concluded, Sun Resorts unveiled Sunlife, symbolized by a dynamic visual identity representing light and shadows. Sunlife embodies a unique Mauritian lifestyle, celebrating life in the sun. Associates embraced the Vision, Purpose, and Values, guiding the brand's future.

Sunlife extends its message globally with the 'Come Alive' Collection, offering signature experiences and promoting sustainability through Izzy the Bee for children. Celebrated on December 1st at Sugar Beach, Sunlife's transformation was highlighted by international media campaigns.

This transformation is more than rebranding; it's a renaissance. Sun Resorts evolved into Sunlife, radiating the magic of Mauritius and inviting guests to experience life anew.
