Tomasz Schweda, a dynamic figure in Polish hospitality, serves as Multi-Site General Manager for Mercure Krakow Old Town and the upcoming TRIBE Krakow (opening 2025). Known for his passion and innovative leadership, Tomasz has elevated Mercure Krakow Old Town to become a regional model of excellence, achieving top ratings in guest satisfaction, financial performance, and employee engagement.
Beginning his journey with Accor in 2016 as Operations Director, Tomasz quickly rose to General Manager, leveraging over 12 years of experience in international hotel chains such as Sheraton, Marriott, and Mamaison. His dedication to quality has earned properties under his management high rankings, including Travelers' Choice Awards and Business Traveler accolades.
Tomasz’s leadership extends beyond operations. As part of Accor’s committees, he has influenced initiatives like redefining breakfast standards, enhancing F&B concepts, and training managers for Accor’s lifestyle loyalty program. His innovative approach to talent development resulted in a 97% employee engagement score, one of the highest in Europe, and his mentoring efforts helped shape future leaders through Accor’s Bloom program.
Recognized for his contributions, Tomasz was a finalist for Hotelier of the Year 2023 and has received distinctions for marketing strategy and CSR achievements, including Green Key certification for Mercure Krakow Old Town. Under his leadership, the hotel achieved significant increase in results including exceptional guest satisfaction score.
