ZEL, a brand born from a partnership between Meliá Hotels International and tennis legend Rafael Nadal, debuted in Mallorca in 2023. The brand embodies the Mediterranean lifestyle, offering a unique blend of outdoor living, fine dining, and thoughtfully designed spaces inspired by Mediterranean culture. With its slogan "Born in the Med," ZEL creates a home-away-from-home experience that reflects the warmth, spontaneity, and joy of Mediterranean living.

At the heart of every ZEL hotel is the patio, designed as a vibrant communal space echoing the welcoming atmosphere of a Mediterranean home. Featuring beach-inspired colors, warm décor, and inviting spaces, these patios encourage guests to connect, relax, and enjoy every moment of their stay. Additional highlights include specialty coffee corners, concept stores, and curated gastronomic experiences that emphasize fresh, local ingredients and Mediterranean flavors.

ZEL’s concept revolves around outdoor living and a strong connection to nature. Each hotel integrates architecture and design that prioritizes light, open spaces, and seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor areas.
